What is temporary email?
A temporary email address is an inbox with a short lifespan. It receives messages like an ordinary address, but it is designed for short tasks. It helps you keep one-time messages separate from the personal inbox you use every day.
When does it come in handy?
Use a temporary inbox for a one-time download, a trial you’re exploring, a newsletter preview, or testing email delivery in an app you own. If a service accepts your address, you can receive its email without sharing your primary address.
How to use TEMMAIL
- Open the homepage. A random inbox is created automatically once any required security check is complete.
- Copy the address. Use Custom if you want to choose an available name and domain.
- Use the address and keep the inbox open. Messages refresh automatically while the page is visible.
- Open a message to read it. Recognized verification codes get a convenient copy button.
What about verification codes?
TEMMAIL can receive verification emails when the sending service accepts the domain and delivers the message. Some sites reject disposable email addresses. Delivery and acceptance depend on the sender, so receiving every code cannot be guaranteed.
A few things to keep permanent
Use your regular email for banking, medical records, important work, long-term accounts, and password recovery. A temporary inbox expires; you should never depend on it to regain access to an important account.
Your inbox has a time limit
A TEMMAIL inbox lasts 60 minutes from creation. Its access ends when the timer reaches zero. Expired content is removed by scheduled cleanup. Used addresses remain retired so another visitor cannot claim the same address and receive future messages meant for you.
Keep your browser session
Your inbox is protected by a secret browser cookie. Keep that cookie to return to your inbox before it expires. A different browser, private window, or cleared cookie won’t have access to the same session.
